Decolonizing Study Circle
A six-week online space for shared study, reflection, and conversation.
The Decolonizing Study Circle is for people interested in exploring decolonization, liberation, spirituality, psychology, culture, identity, belonging, collective healing, and the questions that emerge between them.
This is not a class, and there is no required book or shared curriculum. Instead, bring whatever you’re already exploring—a book, article, podcast, spiritual text, research, creative practice, or another resource that is challenging or expanding the way you understand yourself and the world.
You don’t need to be an expert in decolonization. Come with curiosity, a willingness to examine what you’ve inherited or been taught, and openness to learning alongside people with different identities, experiences, and perspectives.
What We’ll Do
Each two-hour gathering will follow a simple rhythm:
Check In — Arrive and briefly share what you’re bringing into the space.
Study — Spend quiet time with whatever you’ve chosen to explore.
Reflect — Process what’s emerging through journaling, art, cards, mind-mapping, quiet reflection, or another practice that works for you.
Share — Come back together to talk about what you’re noticing, questioning, unlearning, or seeing differently.
Check Out — Close with what you’re taking with you.
We aren’t gathering to find one “right” answer. We’re creating space to question, explore, and learn across difference.
Bring what you’re studying. Bring the questions you’re carrying. Come learn in community.

A Note About Donations
This circle is offered on a donation basis because we want finances to be as little of a barrier to participation as possible. Your donation helps support the time, care, and resources involved in holding this space while making it possible for others to participate at a level that is accessible to them.
We invite you to give what feels sustainable for you. There is no expectation that everyone contribute the same amount—and your presence and participation are also part of what makes this community possible.
